Do you love any colors that you could never wear?

I’m not a huge fan of kid-sized “useful” thi I’m not a huge fan of kid-sized “useful” things. They tend to be cheap, plastic, and neon colored. My kids might love them, but I’m usually thinking about how quickly it will get broken and thrown away when I see them in the store.😏

However, I talk a lot about letting kids help me with things, and having tools their size makes it much easier (and safer) for them to do it. I’ve been collecting sturdy kid tools over the years, and I am so pleased with these!

The mops are from Rocky Mountain Goods, and they actually work! They have lots of other sturdy little things—I’m eyeing the mini snow shovels, because, Ohio.
The little broom is from my favorite Amish roadside stand.😁 Come visit and I’ll take you there.
The rocking chair is Old Hickory, probably from somewhere in Ohio? I used it as a child, and my mom passed it on to me. I’ve found a Old Hickory foot stool at www.outdoorsrockingchair.com that I love, and I think they have little rocking chairs as well.

Also, you can’t hear me, but I was telling my daughter to let the baby play with the little dust pan too. She wasn’t sure he was old enough.😅

What do you think of these? What’s your favorite sturdy kid-sized toy or tool?
I know, it looks like I’ve only read fantasy thi I know, it looks like I’ve only read fantasy this year. This is not true, but they do make such lovely pictures. 🤩 Fantasy, especially YA fantasy, is the genre of my heart, and since my bookshelf space is limited, I tend to buy more of them. Did I mention they’re pretty?😅

Go out and catch a few children.
Release them in your backyard.
Let them rummage in your cupboards and tiptoe into your bedroom with their treasures.
